Description:
This system allows us to accurately detect and classify Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) in wheat. FHB classification requires a GSD of less than 0.5 mm to replace the human eye.
The RGB camera PhaseOne 100MP has a 150 mm lens. This sensor allows for a very low Ground Sampling Distance (GSD). For example, at a flight altitude of 12 meters, you can achieve a GSD of less than 0.5 mm. This system still offers a very low GSD if a significant distance from the object is necessary. We use this system to detect and classify Fusarium Head Blight in wheat accurately. FHB classification requires a GSD of less than 0.5 mm to replace the human eye.
Therefore, it is suitable for all traits that require very high resolution and very high image quality. The drone can also use it for all types of plants and many applications outside of plant science.
